JioPhone 5 under Rs 500 works as cheapest model | According to a report by 91Mobiles, sources close to the development say that the Jio Phone 5 will be a feature phone and not an affordable 4G smartphone which the company confirmed at the 43rd AGM meeting earlier this month.
It is expected to be called Jio Phone Lite, which makes it a toned-down version of the original Jio Phone.

Jio Phone Lite will be produced locally under the Make in India efforts of the Mukesh Ambani-led company.

This means that the phone may include an Internet browser and some pre-installed apps. We expect WhatsApp, Facebook and Google to be pre-loaded on this phone. The phone can also make VoLTE calls similar to the original JioPhone.
